In the last 50 years increasing numbers of cleaning products have been developed with toxic chemicals. Whilst aimed at improving cleaning there are however serious health and environmental risks linked with many of these toxic chemicals. Toxic chemicals release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere and cause short and long term adverse health effects.
